People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our well-established client based in Avonmouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, weekly pay, fully paid training, ongoing work and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position with a well-established logistics company.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, Van Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, Category B Driver, Parcel Delivery Driver, Courier Driver or Commercial Van Driver.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday

 • Shift lengths between 5 and 10 hours per day

 • Weekly rota provided in advance

Rates of Pay

 • £14.00 - £15.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

 • Loading and unloading your vehicle at the start and end of each shift

 • Completing deliveries safely and efficiently across the UK

 • Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location

 • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects

 • Completing delivery paperwork accurately

 • Following all road traffic legislation and company procedures

 • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time

Essential Skills

 • Hold a valid UK Category B driving licence for a minimum of one year

 • Be aged 21 years or over (due to the client's insurance requirements)

 • Have no more than six penalty points for minor offences

 • No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements

 • Be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting

 • Have excellent communication and customer service skills

 • Be reliable, professional and safety conscious

Desirable Experience

 • Previous commercial driving experience is advantageous but not essential

 • Experience working as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Courier Driver or Commercial Driver would be beneficial

Training Provided

 • Fully paid site induction

 • Three paid training shifts with an experienced driver

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
