What can you expect?

As an ECT, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons
• Create a positive learning environment where pupils can thrive
• Support students with different abilities, backgrounds and learning needs
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents/carers
• Contribute to the wider life of the school
• Continue developing your teaching practice through the Early Career Framework (ECF)

You'll work alongside experienced teachers and receive guidance and support as you develop your confidence and establish yourself in your teaching career.

What are we looking for?

We're keen to hear from ECTs who have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or are on track to achieve QTS
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and reflective approach to teaching
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Enthusiasm for developing your classroom practice
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
