TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND setting in the WV2 area of Wolverhampton supporting secondary-aged students with a range of additional needs. The setting provides a supportive learning environment for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism / ASD, with a focus on helping every student engage positively with their education.

The setting is looking to appoint a Year 7 Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, starting next week. The successful Year 7 Teacher will work with Year 7 students, adapting lessons to meet individual needs, maintaining strong classroom and behaviour management and supporting students with SEMH and ASD to make positive academic and personal progress.

The successful Year 7 Teacher will have:

• QTS

• Experience teaching students at secondary level

• Experience supporting students with SEMH and Autism / ASD

• A strong SEND teaching background

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• A resilient, patient and adaptable approach
