Plater / Fabricator Welder

Location: Brierley Hill, DY5
Pay: £17.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Day Shift

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Plater / Fabricator Welder to join a busy structural steel fabrication company based in the Brierley Hill area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding a range of structural steel components, working from engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
• Marking out, cutting and assembling structural steel
• Fabricating beams, columns, frames and other structural steel components
• MIG welding structural steel to a high standard
• Welding material up to 30mm thickness
• Using workshop machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Ensuring all work meets the required quality and safety standards

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Structural Plater / Fabricator Welder
• Experience welding structural steel up to 30mm thick is essential
• Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
• Able to confidently read and work from engineering drawings
• Able to work accurately with minimal supervision
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to producing high-quality work

This is a full-time, day-shift position paying £17.00 per hour, offering an excellent opportunity to join a busy and established fabrication environment.
