The Opportunity A modern, independent small animal veterinary practice in South Manchester is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join its growing team. This is a varied first opinion nursing role offering plenty of opportunity to make full use of your nursing skills. The position includes nurse clinics, Schedule 3 procedures where appropriate and general first opinion theatre work, within a practice that actively encourages its nurses to develop and progress. The practice is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with both pets and people and wants to become part of a close-knit, supportive team. With experienced leadership, a strong focus on career development and a growing team, this would suit an RVN looking for a role where they can continue developing clinically while working in a positive and people-focused environment. The Practice This is a family-owned, independent veterinary group with a strong emphasis on creating practices where both clients and team members feel genuinely valued. The Didsbury clinic is a modern, purpose-built practice with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, providing high-quality first opinion care within a welcoming environment. The practice takes a particularly pet-centric approach to veterinary care and is Fear Free accredited, with the team focused on reducing fear, anxiety and stress for patients throughout their veterinary experience. Alongside clinical standards, there is a real emphasis on creating a positive workplace culture. Team members are supported by experienced practice owners, encouraged to develop their careers and given the opportunity to grow alongside an expanding independent veterinary group. What They're Looking For The practice is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is enthusiastic, compassionate and confident working as part of a collaborative team. You should enjoy building relationships with clients as well as caring for their pets and be comfortable getting involved across a varied first opinion caseload. An interest in nurse clinics and Schedule 3 work would be particularly welcomed, with plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and take an active role within the practice. The Rota
