Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for work within primary schools across Bradford?

We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to support our network of Bradford primary schools from September, with opportunities available for candidates seeking both flexible and consistent work.

Assignments can range from day-to-day classroom support through to long-term positions, 1:1 roles and permanent opportunities.

The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Working with individual pupils and small groups
• Providing 1:1 support where required
• Encouraging pupils to engage positively with their learning
• Supporting children's academic and personal development
• Helping manage behaviour positively and consistently
• Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Adapting to the routines and expectations of different schools

What We're Looking For

We're looking for candidates who:

• Have relevant experience working with children
• Are passionate about helping pupils learn and develop
• Are patient, caring and confident
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Can work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff
• Are reliable and adaptable
• Have relevant qualifications or school-based experience where applicable

An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is desirable. If you don't have a current DBS, we can support you with obtaining one.
