We are currently recruiting a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a progressive Secondary School in Oldham on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September. This Maths Teacher role offers excellent potential for a permanent contract.

You will be joining a supportive secondary setting in Oldham that places teamwork and student ambition at the centre of school life. This is an ideal position for an experienced or Early Career Maths Teacher looking to make a lasting impact within a collaborative Oldham department.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering structured, high-impact mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Oldham

• Differentiating curriculum content so every student can grasp core numerical concepts and problem-solving techniques

• Acting as a dedicated Maths Teacher who sets clear expectations and promotes positive student engagement

• Collaborating with fellow educators across the Oldham school to analyse assessment data and support exam preparation

• Contributing to the wider school community in Oldham while maintaining robust safeguarding procedures

Requirements or Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant Secondary Mathematics teaching qualification

• Proven track record teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 within a UK secondary setting

• Strong behaviour management capabilities and an adaptable approach in the classroom

• Genuine enthusiasm for working as a Maths Teacher in the Oldham community

• Valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to process one)

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
