TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of nurseries across Bridgend who are looking to recruit dedicated Nursery Assistants on a supply basis. These nurseries provide safe, engaging and stimulating environments for children aged 0-5 years, with a strong focus on encouraging social, emotional and educational development through play-based learning.

The nurseries are looking for flexible Nursery Assistants to work on both full-time and part-time hours depending on availability. The successful Nursery Assistant will support daily childcare routines, assist with educational activities, help maintain a safe and hygienic environment and work closely with senior staff to monitor children’s progress and wellbeing.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable
• Experience working within a nursery, preschool, Cylch Meithrin or early years setting
• Good understanding of child development and early years best practice
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• A positive, caring and proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work across a variety of settings
