TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Chelmsford who are looking for reliable General Cover staff from September. The school is looking for confident and adaptable individuals who can build positive relationships with KS3 and KS4 students and maintain a productive classroom environment.

The school is looking to take on General Cover staff on temporary contracts, working across KS3 and KS4. The successful General Cover applicant will be expected to deliver pre-planned work across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.

The successful General Cover will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Experience delivering lessons or supervising groups of young people
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence working across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
