TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive and well-respected mainstream secondary school in Coventry, who are looking to appoint an English Teacher from September. The school provides a welcoming environment where staff are valued and supported, with a strong focus on high-quality teaching and learning.

The school is looking to appoint an English Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for the full teaching role, including planning, preparation, marking and assessment, while delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
