TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides a supportive learning environment for students across KS3 and KS4, with the successful Cover Supervisor becoming a valued part of the school team.

The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for both day to day and long-term cover from September 2026. The successful Cover Supervisor will cover lessons across a range of subjects, delivering pre-planned work, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning in the absence of their usual teacher.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with students across KS3 and KS4
• Experience supporting learning within a secondary school setting
• Confidence covering a range of different subjects
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication skills
• A flexible, confident and adaptable approach
