People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our well-established client based in Crawley.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, Van Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, Parcel Driver, Courier Driver or Light Goods Vehicle Driver.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • Shifts between 5 and 10 hours per day
 • Weekly rota provided in advance

Rates of Pay

 • £14.00 - £15.00 per hour
 • Bonus Scheme Available
 • Weekly Pay (PAYE – Holiday Pay Accrued Separately)

Day-to-Day Duties

As a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:

 • Safely loading and unloading your vehicle at the start and end of each shift
 • Completing deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time
 • Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location
 • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
 • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
 • Adhering to all road traffic legislation and company procedures
 • Maintaining a professional and courteous approach at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as a 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver, you will need:

 • A valid UK Category B Driving Licence held for a minimum of one year
 • Be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes
 • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements)
 • The ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting duties
 • Good communication and customer service skills
 • A reliable, professional, and punctual attitude

Desirable Experience

 • Previous commercial driving experience
 • Previous multi-drop delivery or courier experience
 • Experience working within a logistics or distribution environment

Training Provided

 • Paid site induction prior to starting
 • Three paid training shifts alongside an experienced driver
 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
