This full-time opportunity provides invaluable practical experience supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs while making a genuine difference to their educational journey.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers and specialist staff, supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Sensory and physical needs

You will provide both one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils access learning, develop independence, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes both academically and socially.

Your Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with pupils
• Support communication, social interaction, and independence

• A degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject)

• Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential), including voluntary work, mentoring, coaching, youth work, or care
