Healthcare Assistant – St Austell

We are currently looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to join a friendly and supportive team at a beautiful care home in St Austell.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys making a difference and is looking for flexible, ongoing work within a welcoming care home.

Shift Times:

• 8:00am – 2:00pm
• 1:45pm – 8:00pm
• 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Nights: 7:45pm – 8:00am (available when required)

Shifts vary each week, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

The Role:

• Providing personal care and support to residents
• Assisting with daily living activities
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Working closely with the wider care team to provide high-quality care

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a care home or similar setting
• Adult Workforce DBS
• Safeguarding Adults training
• Manual Handling training
• A caring, reliable and professional approach

Pay Rates:

Day Shifts

• £12.80 per hour – Weekdays
• £14.25 per hour – Saturdays
• £14.75 per hour – Sundays

Night Shifts

• £13.75 per hour – Weekdays
• £16.00 per hour – Weekend nights

Twilight Shifts

• £13.25 per hour – Weekdays
• £15.00 per hour – Weekends
