Director of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

Location: Hershey, PA

Our client, a highly respected entertainment and hospitality organization, is looking for a Director of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to help shape and lead their procurement strategy across the business.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving smarter sourcing decisions, building strong supplier partnerships, improving processes, and creating value across a wide range of categories including food & beverage, retail, operating supplies, and professional services.

You are a strategic procurement leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment. You have a strong commercial mindset, enjoy building relationships, and know how to turn sourcing strategies into meaningful business results. You bring experience leading complex procurement initiatives, negotiating with suppliers, and partnering with senior stakeholders to drive efficiency and long-term value.

You have a passion for continuous improvement and are excited by the opportunity to help transform procurement processes through technology, including supporting a major Workday implementation.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple categories to drive cost savings, efficiency, and supplier value.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while leading negotiations, contracts, and performance management.
• Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier data to identify opportunities and manage risk.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, IT, Legal, and business leaders to align procurement strategies with company goals.
• Support the implementation and optimization of Workday procurement processes, helping create scalable and efficient workflows.
• Establish reporting, analytics, and best practices to improve visibility and decision-making.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement operations and supplier performance.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience.
• Leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
• Experience within hospitality, entertainment, leisure, retail, food service, or a similar industry preferred.
• Strong background in supplier negotiations, contract management, and category strategy.
• Experience with procurement technology platforms, ideally Workday or similar systems.
• A collaborative leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
