The Role

As a Level Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Work with individual pupils and small intervention groups to support progress in English, Maths and Phonics.
• Provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND, EAL and SEMH where required.
• Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources and pupil assessment activities.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents while promoting a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

What We're Looking For

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or recognised equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a UK Primary School, Nursery or educational setting.
• A sound understanding of the Primary National Curriculum and how to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Experience delivering phonics interventions (such as Read Write Inc., Little Wandle or similar) is desirable.
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND, on both a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and behaviour management skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• The Right to Work in the UK.
