Senior Project Manager – Joinery & Commercial Fit Out

The Role

Westin Par Recruitment Experts is supporting a specialist interiors contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee bespoke joinery and commercial fit out projects across London and the South East. The role involves full project ownership from handover through to completion, ensuring quality, programme control and strong client communication throughout.

You’ll coordinate design information, manufacturing schedules, logistics and installation teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Regular site presence is required, along with visits to a modern manufacturing facility in Kent.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from handover to final sign off.
• Coordinate design, production, logistics and installation activities.
• Maintain project programmes, identify risks and implement solutions.
• Manage client and stakeholder communication, including progress reporting.
• Oversee technical reviews, site surveys and documentation accuracy.
• Support manufacturing teams with clear information and programme updates.
• Plan installation works, RAMS, inductions and site coordination.
• Drive quality assurance, snag resolution and project close out.
• Promote safe working practices and compliance with company procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Strong background in purpose made joinery and commercial fit out.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical information.
• Confident decision maker with strong organisational skills.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of site processes.
• Effective communicator with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Competent IT skills and ability to manage project documentation.
