Training & Development Manager – Luxury Resort

Location: St. Lucia
Compensation: $3,171 USD per month + monthly service charge

We are recruiting on behalf of a luxury Caribbean resort seeking an experienced Training & Development Manager to lead the learning and development strategy across the property. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to shape a culture of continuous learning, leadership development, and service excellence within a world-class resort environment.

The successful candidate will partner closely with senior leadership to develop and deliver impactful training initiatives, ensuring team members at every level are equipped to deliver exceptional guest experiences while supporting the resort's long-term talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the resort's learning and development strategy
• Design and deliver onboarding, service excellence, leadership, and departmental training programs
• Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and develop targeted learning initiatives
• Lead leadership development and succession planning programs across the resort
• Oversee departmental trainer programs and ensure training consistency across all operational areas
• Coordinate internal and external training initiatives while maintaining training records and compliance
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Foster a culture of learning, engagement, and professional development throughout the resort

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or Organizational Development within luxury hospitality
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education, or a related field
• Proven experience designing and delivering leadership and service excellence programs
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Experience supporting luxury hospitality service standards and quality assurance programs
• Excellent communication, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for developing people and creating high-performing hospitality teams
