KPI Recruiting are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join a busy Italian restaurant in Glasgow on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves good food, takes pride in leading a kitchen, and knows how to keep standards high while creating a positive, well-organised working environment.

The  role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with a salary of £45,000.00 per year plus paid overtime.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running the kitchen day to day and making sure service is smooth, organised and consistent.
• Leading, supporting and developing the kitchen team.
• Preparing and presenting high-quality Italian food to a strong standard.
• Helping to shape menus, specials and seasonal dishes.
• Managing stock, ordering, waste and food costs.
• Keeping food hygiene, health and safety, and kitchen cleanliness standards where they need to be.
• Working closely with front of house to give guests a great experience.
• Experience as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant kitchen.
• A genuine passion for Italian food and fresh ingredients.
• Confident leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen compliance.
• The ability to stay calm, organised and positive during busy services.
