An outstanding and high-performing secondary school in the Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking an exceptional Mathematics graduate to join its Maths department as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September.

The Role

Working alongside experienced Maths teachers, you will:

• Support Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver targeted intervention sessions.
• Provide one-to-one support for students requiring additional help.
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
• Help students build confidence in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
• Gain first-hand experience of outstanding teaching practice.

Person Specification

To be considered, you must:

• Hold or be predicted a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject from a UK university.
• Be committed to a career in secondary Maths teaching.
• Be available for the full academic year.
• Live within the Royal Borough of Greenwich or within approximately one hour's commute.
• Have excellent communication skills and strong subject knowledge.
