The Role

Successful candidates will teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching opportunities available for suitably experienced applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Support students in developing strong numeracy, reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and effective feedback
• Differentiate lessons to support students of varying abilities and learning needs
• Prepare students for internal assessments and GCSE examinations
• Maintain positive classroom environments with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and school leaders to maximise student outcomes

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve QTS
• Degree in Mathematics or a related subject
• Passion for Maths and education
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
• Ability to contribute positively to a collaborative department culture
