Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Frodsham, Cheshire

Mon - Friday Flexi Days (6-2, 7-3 etc)

 

Package includes:

45-47k Base salary

25 days + bank holidays

5% company pension contribution

The Opportunity

We're recruiting for an experienced electrical bias maintenance engineer to join a leading, state of the art manufacturing business in Cheshire.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive repairs to a variety equipment and control systems
  • Act as the engineering representative on days
  • Carry out planned Maintenance activities
  • Minimising downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets
  • Supervision of outside contractors/service engineers and tradesmen as required
  • Management of small projects such as equipment installation or staff training
  • To develop and implement process improvements

 

 

About You

  • Apprenticeship trained at NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and a willingness to take on challenges
  • Basic mechanical maintenance/ fault finding skills
  • PLC Fault finding skills - Ladder logic, problem solving only
  • Full UK Drivers Licence

 

Please note that this position may evolve in to a Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm rotation in the future. Should this happen, you will receive a shift premium of 10%.
