Days Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Up to 55k base salary.

Huddersfield

34 Days Annual leave

Mon - Friday 07:30 - 16:30

 

 

The Opportunity

We're recruiting for an experienced electrical bias maintenance engineer to join a leading, state of the art manufacturing business in Huddersfield.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive repairs to a variety equipment and control systems
  • Act as the engineering representative on days.
  • Carry out planned Maintenance activities.
  • Minimising downtime and contributing to the achievement of production targets
  • Supervision of outside contractors/service engineers and tradesmen as required
  • Management of small projects such as equipment installation or staff training
  • To develop and implement process improvements

 

 

About You

  • Apprenticeship trained at NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • 18th edition certified.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and a willingness to take on challenges.
  • Basic mechanical and fabrication skills.
