Service Manager – Residential Child Care

Doncaster

£450 per day

To provide strategic leadership, management and advice on all issues related to services to Children in Care, namely: -

• Residential homes for children.
• Outcomes for children in care
• Participation of children in care
• To provide effective leadership, co-ordination and management of our Children’s Homes. 
• To ensure the highest possible standards of care and security for looked after children and young people.
• To make a positive andeffective contribution to the leadership of Doncaster Children’s Services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure our homes meet all statutory requirements and to directly supervise the home managers to ensure positive outcomes.
• To act as the Responsible Individual for children’s homes as required.
• Ensure safe and supportive environment within every residential home for our children and young people and our staff.
• Provide strategic management and professional advice to the Residential Homes Managers on statutory and safeguarding matters. 
• Ensure that all relevant action plans, policies and statutory requirements are effectively developed and implemented.
