We are seeking a Threat Defence & Cyber Security Operations – Security Operations and Engineering Manager to join our team based at our Paddington site. Reporting to the Head of Threat Defence and Cyber Security Operations, this role is offered on a full-time or hybrid basis, with a minimum of two days per week spent on site. Office days and times will be agreed with the line manager. This role works closely with local Information Security Managers when operating on site, ensuring alignment with site-specific health and safety requirements. Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC). At Urenco we’re committed to giving you opportunities to be your best. What you’ll do: Lead and manage Cyber Security Operations and Engineering services, including security engineering, tooling optimisation, SOC operations (non‑incident), vulnerability management, security testing, reporting and continuous improvement.

Security vetting Due to the nature of the industry that Urenco operates in, all personnel regardless of employment status working for Urenco are required to obtain security clearance at the level required for their role. Security clearances are assessed in accordance with regulations and official guidance issued by the relevant competent authorities for national security vetting. In certain circumstances, additional enhanced security clearance considerations apply to roles within Urenco owing to the particular activities that the Urenco Group undertakes in relation to uranium enrichment.
