Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant | Role Overview

  • Located in Rochdale (OL11 5DR) with good public transport links.
  • Working in a Primary School with children aged 4–11.
  • Full-time, long-term opportunity.
  • Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Term-time only.
  • Weekly salary between £500 and £560 (dependent on experience).
  • Immediate start available, initially until July 2026.
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention groups.
  • Assisting children in overcoming academic and social barriers to learning.

Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant | About You

  • Minimum 2:1 degree (Education, Psychology, English, Maths or other core subjects desirable).
  • Passionate about pursuing a career in education or educational psychology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
  • Previous experience working with children (school, tutoring, coaching or voluntary work) is desirable but not essential.
