Salary: £35,000–£55,000 per annum (depending on experience)

TeacherActive is currently recruiting a qualified and passionate English Teacher for a permanent position at a secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a dedicated department and contribute to students' progress and achievement.

The successful candidate will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' reading, writing, communication and analytical skills.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply).
• Experience teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
