Recruit4staff are representing a leading packaging and print manufacturing business in their search for a Digital Printer to work in Wrexham

Job Details:

• Pay: Up to £35,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: Quad shift pattern, working three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating between 7am–7pm and 7pm–7am. Monday to Friday day shifts during the training period.
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: 22 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme (4% employee contribution and 5% employer contribution).

Job Role: As a Digital Printer, you will support the daily digital printing requirements of an HP Indigo digital press within a busy manufacturing environment. The Digital Printer will be responsible for understanding artwork requirements, managing DFE file transfer processes, and interpreting job specifications to ensure production requirements are met accurately and efficiently. Working closely with production colleagues and site management, the Digital Printer will help maintain print quality, production efficiency and business targets.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience operating or working with an HP Indigo digital press is essential for this Digital Printer position.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues in a busy production environment.
• Excellent communication skills when liaising with production colleagues and site management.
• Experience working in a high-volume, low-unit-cost manufacturing environment.

Advantageous Skills and Experience:

• Practical understanding of label printing and digital print production.
• Knowledge of artwork requirements and digital file preparation.
• Familiarity with DFE file transfer processes.
• Understanding of technical and origination processes within a printing environment.
• Experience supporting efficient production workflows and maintaining print accuracy.
