Freezer Warehouse Operative – Nuneaton, Warwickshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Freezer Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Freezer Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Order Picker, Warehouse Assistant or Cold Storage Operative.

Shifts

 • Four on, four off – Days: 7AM to 7PM
 • Four on, four off – Nights: 7PM to 7AM

Rates of Pay

 • Days: £13.56 per hour
 • Nights: £15.85 per hour
 • Overtime available
 • Christmas attendance bonus

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Freezer Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

 • Picking frozen food items using voice-pick technology in temperatures of -21°C
 • Operating material handling equipment (MHE), including Reach and Counterbalance FLT
 • Moving, sorting and organising stock within the warehouse
 • Wrapping and securing completed pallets for dispatch
 • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
 • Carrying out additional warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills

 • Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative
 • Previous order picking experience
 • Good level of spoken and written English
 • Reliable attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
 • Willingness and ability to work in freezer conditions of -21°C
 • Ability to work the advertised shift patterns

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience in a freezer or chilled warehouse environment
 • Experience working four-on/four-off shifts or night shifts
 • Previous experience using voice-pick technology
 • Experience operating Reach or Counterbalance FLT equipment

Training Provided

 • Industry-related training provided
 • Ongoing support throughout your assignment
