Productive Supervisor

Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Productive Supervisor to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop.

Salary – Up to £22 per hour DOE

• Overtime at time and a half.
• Double time on Sundays and bank holidays.
• £120 per week call-out allowance when on standby.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday: 07:00–15:00 / 15:00–23:00 (rotating shifts).
• Alternative Saturdays: 08:00–12:00 (overtime at time and a half).

The Productive Supervisor Role

• Supervise and support technicians with their daily duties.
• Manage workshop workflow and prioritise jobs.
• Coach and guide the team.
• Maintain standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and deadlines are met.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience, or ambition to progress into a leadership role.
• Commercial vehicle workshop experience, ideally with HGVs or buses.
• Full UK driving licence; HGV licence advantageous.
• Good communication, organisational and basic IT skills.
