Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching staff in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
• Work with pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, providing tailored support both in the classroom and during targeted interventions.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs, abilities, and learning styles.
• Promote positive behaviour, encourage independence, and support pupils' social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, helping them feel confident, supported, and ready to learn.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Recent and relevant experience working within an educational setting.
• Experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
• A genuine passion for helping children and young people achieve their full potential.
