Vice President of Operations

Florida | $230,000–$250,000 Base + Bonus

A leading global leisure and entertainment organization is seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee a large-scale, multi-revenue destination in Florida.

This is a high-profile operational leadership position overseeing a complex environment with multiple business units, significant seasonal staffing and a strong focus on both guest experience and commercial performance.

The Role

The successful candidate will have broad operational oversight across a diverse destination incorporating areas such as:

• Attractions and entertainment
• Hotels and accommodation
• Food & beverage
• Retail
• Premium guest experiences
• Group sales
• Commercial and revenue management
• Maintenance and engineering
• Health, safety and guest safeguarding

The operation has a significant seasonal workforce, with 1,000+ employees during peak periods.

A key focus of the role will be driving operational performance while maximizing revenue, yield and guest spend across the destination.

The successful candidate will be an authentic and highly engaging leader who can build trust, strengthen culture and bring large frontline teams together around service, safety and operational excellence.

The organization operates within a complex matrix, so the ability to influence, collaborate and deliver through multiple stakeholders is essential. This is a role for someone who understands how to get things done across an organization rather than relying solely on direct authority.

The position also has a strong external profile, requiring someone comfortable representing a major destination within the local community and building relationships with external stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for a senior operational leader with experience managing large, complex, customer-facing businesses, ideally within leisure, entertainment, attractions, hospitality, resorts or similarly scaled environments.

You will ideally have:

• Significant multi-site or large-scale operational leadership experience
• Experience managing large seasonal or frontline workforces
• Responsibility for complex, multi-revenue P&Ls
• Strong commercial and revenue management experience
• Experience overseeing multiple operational functions
• A track record of leading teams through periods of change
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• A genuine focus on guest experience, safety and service culture
• The confidence to operate as a highly visible senior leader both internally and externally
