TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in the Basford area. The school is looking for a committed Primary Teacher who can create a positive learning environment and support pupils to make strong progress throughout Year 5.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from ASAP until July 2027. The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, undertaking full teacher responsibilities including planning and delivering lessons, marking, assessment and monitoring pupil progress.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Sound knowledge of the Key Stage 2 / KS2 curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong planning, assessment and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
