TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school based in Caldicot. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support and contribute positively to an inclusive classroom environment.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will work one-to-one with a child with autism / ASD, providing individual support with their learning, engagement and development throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Fluency in Welsh
• Experience supporting children with autism / ASD
• Experience working with primary-aged children
• The ability to provide effective one-to-one support
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• The ability to commit to the role on a full-time basis
