TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Leicester who are looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant. The nursery is looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual who can contribute to a positive environment and support children throughout their early development.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 Nursery Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP and continuing until Christmas 2026. The successful Nursery Assistant will work 5 days per week, from 8am until 5pm, supporting children with their learning, development and daily routines while following the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare

• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS

• A caring and patient approach to supporting young children

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
