TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan with a dedicated Resource Base supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs / ALN. The Resource Base provides additional support for pupils with ASD and ADHD, with an established team of educators working together to support their individual needs.

The school is looking to take on an LSA on a full-time, temporary basis from an immediate start until Christmas. The successful LSA will work alongside the established team within the Resource Base, supporting pupils with ASD and ADHD with their learning, engagement and individual needs throughout the school day.

The successful LSA will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with Additional Learning Needs / ALN
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD and/or ADHD
• Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient and supportive approach
• Adaptability and a ‘can-do’ attitude
