TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides a supportive mainstream learning environment and is looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor who can work effectively with students across a range of subjects.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor for short-term day-to-day cover, with an immediate start. The successful Cover Supervisor will work across KS3 and KS4, supervising classes, following lessons left by the class teacher and using strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant qualification is desired but not essential
• Experience working with students across KS3 and KS4
• Experience supporting learning across a range of subjects
• Excellent classroom management
• Confidence following lesson plans and work set by class teachers
• A flexible and adaptable approach
