General Manager – Elevated Casual Restaurant

Location: Long Island, NY
Salary: $100,000–$125,000 + Benefits

We’re partnered with a highly respected and growing hospitality group on an exciting search for a General Manager to lead one of their established elevated casual restaurants on Long Island.

The restaurant is an established, successful operation with strong systems and a solid team already in place. This is not a turnaround role — you’ll be stepping into a well-run business with the support, structure and resources needed to succeed.

The Role

As General Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation while being a highly visible leader for both the team and guests.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the restaurant from the floor and setting the standard for exceptional hospitality
• Developing, coaching and retaining a strong FOH management and service team
• Creating a positive, accountable and genuinely enjoyable workplace culture
• Ensuring consistently high standards across service, guest experience and operations
• Managing restaurant P&L, labor, costs and overall financial performance
• Partnering with senior leadership to drive continued operational success
• Building strong relationships with guests and creating a loyal repeat clientele
• Recruiting and developing talent while supporting the long-term growth of your team
• Maintaining a culture where hospitality, teamwork and positivity are at the heart of the operation

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on General Manager who genuinely enjoys leading people and being part of the operation.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Proven General Manager experience within elevated casual, upscale casual or full-service restaurants
• Strong operational and financial understanding, including P&L management
• A proven track record of coaching, mentoring and developing teams
• A hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the floor
• The ability to create accountability without losing the fun and positivity of hospitality
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for guest experience and service
• Stability in your career history and a track record of building long-term relationships with teams and employers
