The Role – Care Home Deputy Manager

As the Residential Care Home Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of a successful residential care home for elderly residents.

You will play a key role in ensuring the home continues to deliver safe, effective and high-quality care while supporting the care team and maintaining excellent standards.

Key Responsibilities

As Deputy Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day management of the residential care home
• Leading, supporting and motivating the care team
• Ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centred care
• Maintaining high standards of elderly care and resident wellbeing
• Supporting staff supervision, training and development
• Assisting with care planning and quality assurance
• Ensuring high standards of care home compliance are maintained
• Supporting audits, policies and procedures
• Promoting a positive and supportive culture within the home
• Ensuring safe and effective care is delivered at all times
• Taking responsibility for the home in the absence of the Home Manager
