TeacherActive is proud to work with a range of mainstream primary schools across LS8, LS9, LS14 and LS15. We are recruiting an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for regular day-to-day and short-term work from September.

The successful Teaching Assistant will support teachers and pupils throughout the school day. Depending on the booking, the Teaching Assistant may provide whole-class support, work with small intervention groups or provide 1:1 support to individual pupils.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across EYFS, KS1, KS2, SEND, phonics or behaviour support.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children

• School-based experience desirable

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification desirable

• Good safeguarding knowledge

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A patient and positive attitude
