Masstemps are currently looking for MIG Welders for a busy manufacturer in the Wednesbury area.

THE ROLE

• Perform MIG welding on steel and related materials to produce structural and fabricated components to specification.
• Fabricate metal parts and assemblies from engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and associated tools (grinders, saws, drills).
• Tackle general fabrication duties including cutting, drilling, grinding, and preparing materials.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience as a MIG welder in fabrication or production environments.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Demonstrated competence in handling MIG welding equipment and basic workshop tools.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices in a fabrication workshop.

HOURS OF WORK

Variety of shifts available 

06:00am - 14:30pm Monday to Friday

or 

14:00PM - 12:00PM Monday to Wednesday (Thursday 23:00pm finish)

PAY
