TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery in Ilkley, who are looking to welcome a Nursery Assistant to their small and friendly team. The setting provides a welcoming environment where children can learn, develop and build their confidence.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will be working within the preschool room, supporting children with their learning, development and daily activities while helping to provide a safe and engaging environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Experience supporting preschool-aged children
• Knowledge of the EYFS
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to working with children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
