WAREHOUSE LOADER – UDDINGSTON

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Loader – Uddingston to join our well-established client based in Uddingston.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £12.76 per hour, overtime at £19.14 per hour, consistent Monday to Friday hours and full-time ongoing work within a busy warehouse and distribution environment.

£12.76 PER HOUR | £19.14 OVERTIME | MONDAY TO FRIDAY | FULL-TIME ONGOING WORK | PAID SITE INDUCTION

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Loader, Warehouse Operative, Loader, Parcel Sorter, Distribution Operative, Warehouse Worker or General Warehouse Operative.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 06:00 to 14:00
 • Applicants must be able to reliably travel to Uddingston for a 06:00 start

Rates of Pay

 • £12.76 per hour
 • £19.14 per hour for hours worked over 40 hours

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Loader, your duties will include:

 • Loading and unloading vehicles
 • Moving parcels and goods around the warehouse
 • Sorting and preparing items for dispatch
 • Handling goods safely and efficiently
 • Following all site and health and safety procedures
 • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
 • Completing general warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills

 • Previous warehouse or loading experience is desirable
 • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
 • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
 • Reliable and punctual
 • Able to work effectively as part of a team
 • Good communication skills
 • Ability to reliably travel to Uddingston for a 06:00 start

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
