Warehouse Operative - Night Shift - (Own Transport Required)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in a rural location.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Order Picker or Production Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £15.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Full-time night shifts
• Approx. 20:00 - 05:00 or 21:00 - 06:00
• 5 nights per week
• Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday
• Enjoy your weekends off

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative are:

• Assembling customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Carefully picking premium meat products ready for dispatch
• Using butchery scales to weigh products accurately
• Labelling products correctly for customer orders
• Checking stock rotation and product dates to maintain freshness
• Packing orders into trays ready for delivery
• Moving completed orders into driver fridges for the morning dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and organised work area
• Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• High attention to detail
• Must be comfortable working around meat products
• Own transport due to the location of the site
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
