Warehouse Assistant / Driver | Rochester, Kent | Full Time | Salary Dependent on Age & Experience

Their product range includes uPVC products such as Roofline & Internal Wall Boards, uPVC & Aluminium Windows & Doors, Conservatory Roofs, Composite Decking, Cladding, Fencing and much more.

The Role

As a Warehouse Assistant / Driver, you will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, helping with stock, customer service, loading and unloading materials, and deliveries to various sites.

The company is open from 7:00 am–5:00 pm Monday–Thursday and 7:00 am–4:30 pm on Fridays. Working Saturday from 8:00 am–12:00 pm is optional for experienced candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Dealing with the public
• Picking orders
• Replenishing stock
• Loading and unloading materials
• Carrying out general warehouse duties
• Delivering materials to various sites
• Supporting the wider team to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently
• Taking part in relevant training, which can include Forklift Truck, Manual Handling and First Aid

Requirements

Essential

• Conscientious and reliable approach to work
• Friendly and approachable manner
• Physically fit and able to handle materials
• Good timekeeping
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Good attention to detail

Desirable

• Previous warehouse experience
• Basic computer skills
• Full clean UK driving licence
