Working as a Primary Teaching Assistant with TeacherActive gives you the opportunity to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting class teachers, delivering interventions, providing 1:1 support and helping pupils reach their full potential. Bookings range from day-to-day supply to long-term placements, with permanent opportunities also available.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

• Previous experience supporting pupils in a UK primary school

• A positive, patient and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• The ability to work effectively as part of a school team

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
