Each school is committed to providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment, offering Teaching Assistants the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of year groups and classroom settings.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work on a temporary basis from September 2026, with opportunities for long-term placements for the right Teaching Assistant. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across a range of mainstream primary schools in the Vale of Glamorgan, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities and provide additional support where required. The ability to speak Welsh is advantageous but not essential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within a primary school setting
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
• The ability to speak Welsh is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
• A positive, outgoing attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
