Counterbalance Forklift Driver – Bellshill

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our well-established client based in Bellshill. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable Monday to Friday working hours, weekly pay, and genuine long-term opportunities with a well-established recycling business.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, FLT Operator, FLT Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, Forklift Truck Operative, Warehouse Operative, or Goods In Operative.

Shifts

 • Monday – Friday

 • 07:00 – 15:00

Rates of Pay

 • £13.50 per hour

 • Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

 • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

 • Loading and unloading vehicles

 • Moving stock around the site using the FLT

 • Supporting goods in and goods out operations

 • Working both indoors and outdoors within a recycling environment

 • Carrying out general warehouse duties when required

 • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

 • Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you will need:

 • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence

 • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT

 • To be comfortable carrying out manual handling duties

 • Good reliability and a strong work ethic

 • The ability to work effectively as part of a team

 • Strong attention to detail

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience working within a warehouse, recycling, manufacturing, or logistics environment would be beneficial.

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
