Salary: £20.00–£23.00 per hour | £41,600–£47,840 per year | OTE £52,624+ | Overtime Available

Hours: Monday to Friday | Rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will:

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
• Carry out inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance
• Complete repairs to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
• Work efficiently to maximise vehicle uptime

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, LGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification (NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Main dealer or fleet workshop experience
• IRTEC accreditation
