Multidrop Van Driver - Sandy

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multidrop Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Sandy, Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great benefits and room to grow and progress.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Multi Drop Van Driver, Truck Driver or Delivery Driver.

Shifts

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start times between 05:30 – 07:00

Rates of Pay: £12.71 per hour / Guaranteed 8 hours per day

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Operate and drive various 3.5-tonne vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Ensure all cargo is correctly loaded and secured
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company procedures
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers
  • Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
  • Assist with loading and unloading when required

Essential Skills

  • Valid UK Category B driving licence
  • Minimum 12 month's experience driving Category B vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
  • Good knowledge of the UK road network
  • Ability to speak and read a good level of English
  • Excellent punctuality and time-keeping
  • Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
  • Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

  • Experience driving commercial vehicles
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Training Provided

  • Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
